Arrest made in connection with Glennville hit-and-run that killed mother of 3
GLENNVILLE, Ga. (WTOC) - An arrest has been made in connection with the fatal hit-and-run that claimed the life of Tiffany Carter (43) of Glennville, Georgia, according to a social media post from the Candler County Sheriff’s Office.
On the morning of July 21, 2025, Raymond Jamal Quillet (44) of Metter turned himself into investigators.

Quillet has been charged with hit-and-run (felony) and failing to report an accident.
According to police, he is being held at the Candler County Jail awaiting further court proceedings.
Previously, the Candler County Sheriff’s Office had offered a reward of $2,500 for any information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for Tiffany Carter’s death.
The investigation was a joint operation between the Candler County Sheriff’s Office, the Georgia State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team (SCRT), the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, and other assisting law enforcement agencies.
The case will now be turned over to District Attorney Tripp Fitzner and the Middle Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office for further prosecution, according to the Candler County Sheriff’s Office.
