2 juveniles in custody after chase with GSP
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Two juveniles are in custody after a chase with Georgia State Patrol.
According to GSP, around 4:20 p.m. Friday, a Trooper was in pursuit of a passenger vehicle traveling southbound on Pennsylvania Avenue approaching Elgin Street, when both vehicles attempted a right turn onto Elgin Street, hit the curb and struck a concrete retainer wall in front of a residential building.
Officials say the Trooper’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and the Trooper had minor injuries from the crash. The passenger vehicle sustained minor damage and left the scene. The vehicle was located soon afterwards.
GSP says the two juvenile occupants were identified and detained by Savannah Police.
