1 person taken to hospital after incident at the Zip In gas station, according the Bryan Co. Sheriff’s Office

BRYAN COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - The Bryan County Sheriff’s Office said they are currently responding to an incident that happened at the Zip In gas station at Highway 204 and Black Creek.

The incident is under active investigation by the Regional Force Investigation Team, according to the sheriff’s office.

WTOC reached out to the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office who said there was an altercation that led to shots being fired and one person was taken to the hospital.

“At this time, there is no threat to the public. Additional information will be released as it becomes available. We appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation,” wrote the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office on social media.
