WTOC named ‘Station of the Year’ at 2026 Georgia Association of Broadcasters Awards
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - WTOC won several awards at the 2026 Georgia Association of Broadcasters ceremony, including Station of the Year for Small Market TV.
The award recognizes a TV Station that demonstrates overall excellence in their local community.
Other wins included:
- Best Mental Health Awareness Coverage
- Best Station Promo
- Highlighting WTOC’s coverage of ‘Savannah Police Department officers get into car crashes at double the rate of Atlanta officers’ and the many stories that followed.
- Best Community Service Project
- ‘The Big Give Back’ initiative
