VYstar launches free webinar series offering help with rising rent, homeownership costs

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - As housing costs continue to rise across Georgia, VyStar Credit Union is launching a free webinar series designed to help renters, homebuyers and homeowners better manage today’s housing market.

The “Navigating High Rent & Homeownership Costs” series will provide practical financial guidance on topics including budgeting, improving credit, saving for a home, understanding mortgage options and managing debt.

VyStar says the webinars are intended to help individuals and families make informed financial decisions as higher home prices, elevated interest rates and rising rents continue to impact communities.

“Rising rent and higher home purchasing costs are causing many people to rethink what home means and what comes next,” said Dana Karzan, VyStar’s chief marketing officer. “This series is designed to provide clear, practical guidance that helps our members and communities make informed decisions.”

Registration is now open.

Anyone who registers by July 3 will be entered for a chance to be one of six winners to receive $1,500 to help pay rent or mortgage expenses.
