Volunteers to clean Old Miller Road; drivers urged to use caution

BEAUFORT, Sc. (WTOC) - Drivers traveling along Old Miller Road Saturday morning are asked to use caution as Hampton Hall Club volunteers pick up roadside litter.
The Adopt-A-Highway cleanup is scheduled for Oct. 10 from 9 to 11 a.m. Volunteers will work along both sides of the road between the Rose Dhu private entrance and the Grande Oaks entrance.

There are no sidewalks along the cleanup route, so volunteers will be working close to traffic. They will wear orange safety vests and take precautions to avoid vehicles.
Anyone interested in adopting a section of highway, roadway, boat landing or waterway can contact Beaufort County Adopt-A-Highway Coordinator Jesus Rodriguez at 843-255-2817 or jesus.rodriguez@bcgov.net.
