Vidalia Police warn residents about rise in vehicle break-ins

VIDALIA, Ga. (WTOC) - The Vidalia Police Department is reporting an increase in vehicle break-ins and is asking residents to take steps to protect their property.

What police are asking residents to do

Officers are urging the public to follow several precautions:

• Lock vehicle doors every time
• Remove valuables and keep them out of sight
• Secure garage doors
• Lock home doors day and night

How to report suspicious activity
