UPDATE: Two killed in wrong-way crash on I-16

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) -[UPDATE 6/21 11:55 a.m.] Two people died in a crash on I-16 early Saturday morning, according to the Savannah Police Department.
Police say Naveeshia Moore was driving westbound in the eastbound lane of I-16 around 3:40 a.m. when she hit a car driven by Michael Fripp, near mile marker 163.
Fripp was driving in the center lane of eastbound I-16 at the time of the crash
Both drivers died at the scene.
The Savannah Police Department’s Traffic Investigative Unit is investigating the crash.
[UPDATE 9:06 a.m.] The eastbound lanes of Interstate 16 between Chatham Parkway and 516 have reopened as of 9:02 a.m., according to Savannah police.
The road had been closed due to a traffic accident.
