UPDATE: Port Wentworth Police find missing 15-year-old girl

PORT WENTWORTH, Ga. (WTOC) - [UPDATE 8/23 AT 4 P.M.] Missing juvenile, Kellyeah Claxton, has been located and is safe, according to the Port Wentworth Police Department.

They wrote that they thank the community for sharing posts and calling the tip line with information to help locate her.

[ORIGINAL STORY] The Port Wentworth Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 15-year-old girl.

Kellyeah Claxton was last seen at her home on Cold Creek Pass in Port Wentworth. Officials believe she may currently be in the east Savannah area.

Height: 5 feet, 6 inches
Weight: 110 to 120 pounds
Hair: Brown and black waist-length braids
Last seen wearing: A gray dress featuring red and white stripes down the side
