SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) -[UPDATE 9:06 a.m.] The eastbound lanes of Interstate 16 between Chatham Parkway and 516 have reopened as of 9:02 a.m., according to Savannah police.
The road had been closed due to a traffic accident.
