UPDATE: 18-year-old killed, 1 injured after shooting on Bradford Ct. in Chatham Co.

CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - {7/19/26 UPDATE} One person is dead and another injured after a shooting on Bradford Court Saturday night.

According to the Chatham County Police Department, officers arrived to the 100 block of Bradford Ct. for a report of a shooting around 9 p.m.

They found a 17-year-old male victim and an 18 year-old male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

The 18-year-old later died at the hospital from his injuries. The 17-year-old was also taken to the hospital.

No other information has been released and this is an active investigation.

{ORIGINAL STORY 7/18/26} WTOC Crews saw about five marked Chatham County Police Department vehicles on Bradford Court.

Yellow crime tape was sectioned off in an area of Bradford Ct. which is in between the Truman Parkway and La Roche Avenue.

WTOC has reached out to CCPD for details but they said more information would be released when it becomes available.
