SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Another one of the five people charged with sex trafficking a teen has been indicted by a Chatham County grand jury.

Antonio Devaris White was indicted this week for trafficking a person for sexual servitude.

The indictment alleges that in January, he knowingly solicited and patronized the teen to perform sexually explicit conduct, including sexual intercourse, when the victim was 16 or 17 years old at the time. The victim was allegedly the subject of sexual servitude.

WTOC’s previous coverage from court reveals White traveled from Statesboro to Savannah to meet the teen.

Under Georgia law, anyone under 18 years old engaging in commercial sex acts is considered a victim of human trafficking, not a prostitute. Georgia Code classifies the acts as trafficking a person for labor or sexual servitude.

White is now the third person of five arrested in the case to be indicted.

So far, Michael Holsey and Devonte Milton are the other two suspects that have been indicted, with the remaining two suspects expected to be indicted in the next 2 weeks.
