Thelma Roper Goldwire celebrates 103rd birthday
CLYO, Ga. (WTOC) - WTOC is sending a very happy 103rd birthday to Thelma Roper Goldwire! She was born back in 1923 and she grew up in Clyo, Georgia.
According to the Effingham Herald, she got married in 1941 when she was 18. She has 10 children and said taking care of her family is a blessing. Goldwire has been an active member in her community, helping others whenever she can.
Congratulations for reaching such a major milestone and a happy birthday from all of us at WTOC!
