Sweet Southern Co. of the LowCountry hosting grand opening celebration in Beaufort

BEAUFORT, S.C. — What began as a simple roadside lemonade stand is officially celebrating its expansion with a massive family-friendly community event later this month.

Sweet Southern Co. of the LowCountry announced it will be hosting a grand opening celebration and “Family Fun Day” on Saturday, Aug. 29, to debut its new mobile lemonade truck.

The free public event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at New Hope Christian Church, located at 67 Parris Island Gateway in Beaufort.

The afternoon’s festivities will kick off with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new mobile lemonade truck. Attendees can also enjoy music from CJ the DJ, family-friendly games, giveaways, and raffles.

The grand opening celebration is free and open to the community.
