Suspect in woman’s dismemberment charged with malice murder, victim identified

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — The man accused of dismembering a woman’s body at a Smyrna apartment complex has been charged with murder, police said.

Kingston Bradley, 18, is facing charges of malice murder and concealing the death of another after the body was found at Park Valley Apartments on Monday.

Police believe the victim was named Shanteria Mosley.

The connection between the victim and Bradley has not been identified, police said.

Police said they are still searching for other parts of Mosley’s body. They are in the process of conducing several search warrants and several interviews and “following any lead that we have,” police said.

On Friday, detectives found body parts believed to be Mosley’s inside a car trunk in Cobb County. Police did not specify which body parts were found inside the trunk.

DoorDash confirmed the woman worked for the company and Tuesday was the last day her account was used.

“This is a shocking crime,” Lt. Meredith Holt, Smyrna Police Department public information officer, said. “This is a particularly gruesome crime. I cant imagine what the family is going through. I know that they are looking for answers and grieving at the same time. We’re continuing to work this case.”

Bradley has a history of violence, police and court records show.

Records show Bradley was charged with family violence battery in February after allegedly getting into a fight with his father. According to the arrest warrant, Smyrna police have an “extensive history” of disputes between the two.

Court records show Bradley was also charged with two counts of terroristic threats and acts, simple battery, battery and criminal trespass for an incident in December 2024. According to the related arrest warrant, Bradley allegedly hit his father and a 15-year-old with an Xbox controller, broke a door by banging on it and pushed the child into a window, breaking it as well.

The court case is still ongoing.

According to Bradley’s most recent arrest warrant, a witness saw him carrying a plastic tub through an open area of Park Valley Apartments on Monday at around 8:15 p.m.

When Bradly saw the person, he allegedly dropped the container and ran into his nearby apartment.

According to Smyrna police, officers found a human torso inside the tub. A search of Bradley’s apartment revealed multiple bloodstains and a blood-covered saw, plus the smell of bleach, a mop and a bucket of water.

Bradley is being held in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond.
