Summer 500 program connects Savannah teens with paid summer jobs and career experience
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Applications are now open for Summer 500, a program designed to connect local students with paid summer work opportunities across Savannah and Chatham County.
The program is open to rising high school juniors and seniors ages 16 and older.
Organizers say participants will have the chance to explore career paths, meet mentors, build workplace skills and gain real-world experience that can strengthen future job, college and scholarship applications.
The initiative aims to help students build confidence while preparing for long-term career success through hands-on learning opportunities during the summer months.
Parents are encouraged to help eligible students apply for the program.
