Statesboro police investigating shots-fired incident

STATESBORO, Ga. (WTOC) - Statesboro police are looking for a 17-year-old wanted on aggravated assault and property damage charges after a shots-fired call Thursday night.

Warrants have been issued for Levi River Williams, 17.

Officers responded at just before 8 p.m. on Thursday to St. Charles Place Apartments in the 200 block of Lanier Drive, police said. Officers did not find anyone injured, but located property damage caused by gunfire.

Detectives processed the scene and are investigating. Bulloch County sheriff’s deputies and Georgia Southern University police assisted, authorities said.
