SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Job seekers looking for new career opportunities are invited to attend a free Career & Resource Fair at St. Mary’s Community Center later this month.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, July 30, at St. Mary’s Community Center, 812 W. 36th St. in Savannah.

Attendees are encouraged to dress professionally and bring copies of their resume to connect with employers, explore current job openings and learn about career opportunities.

Participating employers include the City of Savannah, St. Joseph’s/Candler, JCB, Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America, Bon Appetit, Roadmaster and Thunderbolt Marine, along with several other organizations.

Community resources will also be available through the St. Joseph’s/Candler African-American Health Information & Resource Center, Moses Jackson Advancement Center, Pennsylvania Resource Center and Step Up Savannah.
