SSU recognizes 40 Under 40 honorees for making an impact in their careers, communities, and beyond
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Savannah State University recognized its second cohort of 40 Under 40 honorees on Saturday inside the Student Union Ballroom.
The honorees were selected through a competitive nomination and review process. University officials said the group represents leaders, entrepreneurs, educators, attorneys, healthcare professionals, public servants and change-makers among SSU graduates.
University officials said the initiative strengthens alumni engagement, cultivates institutional pride and highlights the achievements of graduates who serve as ambassadors for the university’s mission and values.
“Savannah State University is immensely proud to recognize this exceptional group of young leaders,” said Marius L. Davis, director of Alumni Relations, when they announced the recipients in June. “These honorees embody the true spirit of SSU through their unwavering commitment to excellence, leadership, and service. They serve as a powerful reminder of what a Savannah State education empowers our graduates to achieve.”
