SPD makes arrest in deadly domestic stabbing on Teresa Drive
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - UPDATE: Savannah Police have made an arrest in connection to a deadly stabbing on June 30th on Teresa Drive.
Officers arrested 60-year-old Frank Scott in connection to the stabbing that left one man dead and sent a woman to the hospital for treatment.
Scott is charged with murder. And he was transported to the Chatham County Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing.
ORIGINAL REPORTING: The Savannah Police Department is investigating a domestic stabbing that left one man dead and a woman injured in the 2200 block of Teresa Drive Tuesday night.
At around 10 p.m., police said they responded to a report of a stabbing.
What officers found on scene
Once officers arrived, they found a man who was pronounced dead from his injuries on scene. Officers said they met with a woman and another man at the scene.
The injured woman told police that the deceased had attacked her, and that the other man had intervened to defend her. She was transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment.
Investigation ongoing
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
