Screven County man arrested on child molestation charge

SCREVEN COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - Screven County deputies have arrested a man on a Child Molestation charge after he allegedly exposed himself to two underage girls.

Caleb Clifton was arrested and charged with Child Molestation.

Around 12:45 p.m. on June 18, Screven County deputies and an Oliver police officer responded to a call on Oliver Highway regarding a potential child molestation incident.

Deputies located Clifton, who was being questioned. The initial complaint alleged Clifton exposed himself to an 11-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl, as well as the children’s mother.

During the investigation, one of the underage victims reported that Clifton also performed sexual acts on himself in their presence.

Clifton has been processed and booked into jail.
