SC State waives graduate application fees, test score requirements for Spring 2027 admission

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WIS) - South Carolina State University will waive graduate application fees and GRE and GMAT score requirements for prospective students applying for the Spring 2027 semester.
The waivers take effect Oct. 15 and apply to applicants seeking admission to the university’s master’s, specialist, and doctoral degree programs. SC State’s Office of Graduate Services says the initiative is intended to make graduate education more accessible and encourage qualified students to pursue advanced degrees.
Prospective students are encouraged to begin the application process on or after Oct. 15 to take advantage of the waivers.
SC State offers graduate programs in fields including business administration, rehabilitation counseling, counselor education, speech-language pathology, nutritional sciences, transportation and education, as well as graduate certificates.
