Savannah job seekers invited to Housing Authority hiring event

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Savannah-area job seekers will have an opportunity to connect with several local employers during an upcoming community job fair.

The Housing Authority of Savannah will host the free event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, at 1407 Wheaton St.

The job fair is open to the public and will feature employment, training and career-development opportunities for people at different stages of their careers.

Participating employers include:

• Housing Authority of Savannah
• Chatham Area Transit
• Chatham County
• City of Savannah
• JCB
• Roger Wood Foods
• InTime Automotive Solutions
• Additional local employers

Organizers said the event is designed to connect Savannah-area residents with employers and career resources available throughout the community.
