Savannah hosting first property tax information session

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Savannah residents will have an opportunity to learn more about their city property tax bills and the overall tax process.
The City of Savannah Revenue Department’s Property Tax Division will host its inaugural property tax information session Wednesday, Aug. 12, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The educational session will cover important dates, timelines and updates related to the city’s second installment property tax billing cycle for 2026.
Representatives from the Chatham County Tax Assessor’s Office will also share information about available property tax exemptions.
The session will be held at the City of Savannah Municipal Services Building inside the Coastal Georgia Center, located at 305 Fahm Street.
