Savannah Classical Academy named Title I Distinguished School for third straight year

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Savannah Classical Academy has been named a 2026 Title I Distinguished School by the Georgia Department of Education.
The honor recognizes the top 5% of Title I schools based on English and math performance on state assessments from the 2024-2025 school year.
The academy says it is the only school in Chatham County to earn the distinction, also for the third straight year.
“Being recognized as a Title I Distinguished School for the third consecutive year is a tremendous honor and a testament to the consistency, dedication and hard work of our students, teachers and staff,” Chief Executive Officer Barry Lollis said. “We are especially proud to once again be the only school in Chatham County to earn this distinction.”
