Police chase ends in crash in the area of Louisiana Ave., Savannah PD confirms
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Savannah Police are on the scene in the area of Louisiana Avenue after a chase ended in a crash Thursday afternoon.
SPD said they were pursuing a suspect they believed was involved in an armed robbery and in a stolen vehicle. Georgia State Patrol is taking over the investigation.
We reached out to GSP who told us their agency only handled the crash investigation after the pursuit.
