One person injured after crash on Wilmington Island Road

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - One person was taken to a hospital after a vehicle crash with entrapment Thursday night on Wilmington Island Road, according to the Chatham County Fire Department.
Crews were dispatched at 9:34 p.m. to 600 Wilmington Island Road, where they found a vehicle on its side.
Firefighters say they began rescue efforts, and one person was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
