Officer, grandmother arrested for simple battery in Ware County

WAYCROSS, Ga. (WTOC) - A Waycross Police officer and the grandmother of his child are facing simple battery charges after an incident in Ware County.

Friday, the GBI arrested 30-year-old Marc Horne and 51-year-old Kisha Music.

Investigators say on May 28th, there was a fight between the two outside of Southeast Georgia Pediatrics in Waycross.

Officers say once on scene, the woman was bleeding from a small cut on her upper lip.

Horne was not on duty at the time.
