Memorial Health Meadows Hospital temporarily closes most services due to flooding

VIDALIA, Ga. (WTOC) - Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia announced most services at the hospital are temporarily closed due to flooding.

The hospital said all patients and staff are safe, but as of Tuesday afternoon visitors will not be permitted at the hospital. The hospital said the emergency room, women’s center and The Tommy and Shirley Strickland Cancer Center remain open despite flooding.

Hospital officials said they called impacted patients to postpone scheduled procedures and advised the public to call 911 if they are experiencing a medical emergency.
