Man indicted on rape, kidnapping charges in alleged Savannah sexual assault case

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A grand jury indicted Ronald Anthony Glanton Jr. this week on charges of rape and kidnapping in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a woman in Savannah.
Previous court testimony revealed that when detectives interviewed Glanton Jr. the night of the incident, he told police the alleged victim said no. Glanton Jr. told police, “When she says no, she means yes,” according to the testimony.

He was recently granted a $10,000 bond with conditions including an ankle monitor and house arrest.
He is not allowed to have contact with the victim. The bond conditions also do not allow drinking, drug use and possession of weapons.
