Man indicted on multiple sex crime charges in Savannah

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A Savannah man is facing multiple sex crime charges after a Chatham County grand jury indicted him.
Savannah Police arrested Gregory Nathaniel Lewis in mid-May on charges including Aggravated Sexual Battery, Aggravated Sodomy, False Imprisonment, and Theft.
The charges stem from an April 15 incident in which a woman says she was sexually assaulted.

The indictment also includes a Public Indecency charge. Investigators say the alleged assault happened inside a storage business, where Lewis is also accused of stealing a phone.
