Make-A-Wish Georgia gifts camper to local 5-year-old cancer survivor

POOLER, Ga. (WTOC) - Make-A-Wish Georgia worked together with Camping World in Pooler to gift a local family a brand new camper, as well as toys and clothes.
Their son, George, is only five and is the youngest of five kids. George was fighting lymphoblastic leukemia but is now in remission.
George is described as a bundle of energy who loves to spend time with his family and is excited to use his new camper this weekend.
“No matter what, never give up. He never, he never stopped. He was always full of energy, made it through everyday with a smile on his face, no matter how he felt. Anybody can do hard things, if a 3-year-old can beat leukemia, then we can all do it,” said George’s mom, Jennifer Handley.
