Long County deputies arrest two men for armed robbery

LONG COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - Two Tattnall County men are behind bars after allegedly robbing a man at gunpoint near his Long County home.

Kareem Nails and Christopher Fate, both of Glennville, have been arrested and charged with armed robbery.

Long County Sheriff’s Office deputies took the men into custody after receiving reports of an armed robbery on Post Oak Road near Futch Lane on Aug. 16.

Investigators determined the men robbed a man at gunpoint near his home before deputies tracked them down.

Nails and Fate are both being held in jail without bond. Deputies recovered the firearm allegedly used in the crime.

The Long County Sheriff’s Office thanked the Tattnall County Sheriff’s Office for its assistance in the investigation.
