Leopold’s Ice Cream brings new shop to Savannah’s Starland District

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Leopold’s Ice Cream is expanding its Savannah footprint with a new shop in the Starland District.

The new location at 2400 Bull Street, near Brochu’s Family Tradition, will officially open Friday, Oct. 2, at noon, with a ribbon cutting scheduled for 12:01 p.m.

The 107-year-old Savannah ice cream company says the new shop will bring its historic brand and handcrafted recipes to the city’s residential and creative corridor.

Leopold’s describes the Starland District as a community known for galleries, vintage shops, independent cafes and local restaurants, making the new location a way to connect the company’s historic Savannah roots with the neighborhood’s creative atmosphere.

The company is inviting local families, neighborhood residents and ice cream fans to attend the grand opening.
