Jury finds man not guilty in 2025 Savannah murder case
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Nearly a year to the date of a Savannah homicide, Monday a jury issued a not guilty verdict for the suspect charged.

The murder trial for 30-year-old Nyquan Small started last week in Chatham County Superior Court.
Monday, a jury found Small not guilty of the April 2025 murder of 22-year-old Rasheen Adkins.
Just before 11:00 p.m. the night of April 5, 2025, Savannah Police responded to a shooting in the 800 block of Tatem Street.
That’s where officers found Adkins shot. He later died at the hospital.
Then in July Small turned himself in to police.
He was indicted on several charges including murder, aggravated assault and tampering with evidence.
