Hungry Club Forum to host Georgia runoff candidates at Savannah Issues and Solutions Forum

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Hungry Club Forum of Savannah will host candidates involved in several Georgia runoff races during its upcoming “Issues and Solutions” monthly forum on June 6.
The public forum is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the May Street YMCA, located at 1110 May St. in Savannah. Organizers say candidates will discuss their vision for office and how they plan to advocate for Savannah-Chatham County and Coastal Georgia.
Candidates expected to attend include:
- Lt. Col. Joyce Griggs, candidate for Georgia’s First Congressional District
- Amanda Hollowell, candidate for Georgia’s First Congressional District
- Michelle “Michi” Sanchez, candidate for Georgia labor commissioner
- Nikki Porcher, candidate for Georgia labor commissioner
- Deandre Mathis, candidate for Georgia insurance commissioner
The Hungry Club Forum of Savannah says it has spent the past 20 years raising awareness about issues affecting the Savannah-Chatham County community through monthly discussions and civic engagement initiatives.
Dr. Robert G. Bryant, president of the Hungry Club Forum of Savannah, along with the organization’s board of directors, encourages community members and local leaders to attend the forum.
