Hilton Head Island candidate filing period closes for 2026 municipal election

HILTON HEAD, S.C. (WTOC) - The Town of Hilton Head Island’s candidate filing period for the 2026 Municipal Election has closed.
The filing period ended at noon Monday.
Open candidacies include mayor and council seats for wards two, four and five.
The general election will be held Tuesday, Nov. 3.
Candidates who are elected will serve four-year terms.
