Heavy law enforcement presence in Port Wentworth community

PORT WENTWORTH, Ga. (WTOC) - There is currently a heavy law enforcement presence in the area of Goose Neck Rod and Old Mill Road in Port Wentworth.

Savannah Police, Chatham County Police and Port Wentworth Police are all on scene of an incident within this residential community.

Chatham County Police says Savannah Police officers are looking for a suspect in a criminal investigation. And SPD is handling this investigation.

WTOC reached out to SPD for confirmation, and SPD could not confirm the investigation at this time.
