Former Atlanta News First anchor Savannah Louie wins ‘Survivor’ season 49
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A former Atlanta News First anchor and reporter was crowned the victor of “Survivor” season 49 on Tuesday.
Savannah Louie worked for Atlanta News First from 2021 to 2024, where she anchored and reported on community stories.

A longtime fan of the hit reality TV show “Survivor,” Louie landed on the show herself, making it to the first all-female final three in more than a decade. As Sole Survivor, she goes home with the $1 million winner’s prize.
Before coming to Atlanta News First, Louie worked for KSDK in St. Louis and KENS 5 in San Antonio.
Louie will also star in ‘Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans,’ which brings back players from previous seasons. It premieres in February 2026.
