Family displaced after tree crashes onto Savannah home

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A powerful storm moved through the Savannah area Thursday night, leaving behind damage and power outages.
First responders with the Savannah Fire Department say a tree crashed through the living room of a home on Edinburgh Street.
Crews say two adults and four children were inside the home when the incident happened.
Crews were able to get everyone out of the home. One minor injury was reported.
The Savannah Fire Department says crews are working with Georgia Power to make the area safe before the tree can be removed.
The Housing Authority is also helping the family find temporary housing at this time.
