Evans County Sheriff’s Office honors Special Agent Joe Cephus with 2025 Support Officer Award
STATESBORO, Ga. (WTOC) - Special Agent Joe Cephus received the 2025 Support Officer of the Year Award from the Evans County Sheriff’s Office, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Cephus is assigned to the Regional Investigative Office in Statesboro, which serves 10 counties in East Georgia.
The award recognizes Cephus’ dedication to building and maintaining relationships with local law enforcement agencies across the region.
Officials said strong partnerships with local law enforcement are critical to the investigative office’s mission.
