Emily McCarthy hosts cancer awareness event
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Savannah-based Emily McCarthy design brand helped promote women’s health and cancer awareness on Sunday, Sept. 21 by hosting and event at its store on Victory Drive.
The event was held in honor of Paula Horn, who passed away last year due to cancer. All proceeds were donated to the Foundation of Women’s Cancer, which helps raise awareness and fund cancer treatments.
