Scattered showers and storms will develop and may contain very gusty winds and locally heavy rain. Rain chances quickly decrease after sunset and we’ll be dry overnight. A stationary front will remain just to our west into Thursday. This will allow temps to heat up above average again. Highs expected in the low 90s each day with a good chance for afternoon rain and storms. Another cold front moves in Friday and stalls over or near the area into next week. We’ll see scattered showers and storms each day into the early evening. Highs will be around 90 again depending on when the rain/storms develop.

Tropical Outlook: Low pressure(AL95) is located a few hundred miles east-northeast of Bermuda. There is a 40% for this low to become a short lived tropical system today. It will move to the north-northeastward over cooler waters and less favorable upper level winds. It is no threat to the US. Another area of low pressure is located a few hundred miles south-southeast of the Cabo Verde Islands is producing disorganized showers and storms. There is a 70% chance for tropical development over the next 7 days as the system moves generally westward into the central tropical Atlantic. Computer models suggest this might take a northerly turn in the Atlantic but we’ll be watching closely.
