High pressure will be the main weather this week as a cold front stalls just to our west. This will allow temps to heat up well above average through Friday. First Alert WX Days continue as highs reach the upper 90s to some low 100s each day. Heat index values up to 117 possible today. Afternoon rain chances will be low today around 20% but drop to 10% Wednesday and Thursday. Rain chances increase slightly Friday afternoon into the weekend. Temps will depend on when rain/storms begin in the afternoon. We return to near normal temps this weekend with highs in the low to mid 90s and a chance for afternoon-evening showers and storms.
