High pressure will be the main weather feature this week. This will keep our rain chances low and our temps hot. A Heat Advisory is in effect until 8pm for all coastal counties. Most areas remain dry but scattered storms may produce locally heavy rain and gusty winds. The best chances will be east of I95. Any rain chances will end around before midnight with daybreak lows in the mid 70s. Temps will be in the mid 90s Wednesday with very low afternoon/evening rain chances. Highs reach the upper 90s Thursday and Friday with feels like temps close to 115 for some. A cold front looks to stall just to our north Saturday before dissipating Sunday. This will bring a few extra clouds with a slightly better rain chance. Temps remain well above average into next week.

Tropical Outlook: Disorganized showers and storms from a topical wave are located several hundred miles northeast of Bermuda. There is a 10% chance for tropical development until Wednesday when the system will move over much cooler water. An area of low pressure is producing lots of showers and storms. The low currently about 500 miles southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands has a 70% chance for tropical development as it moves slowly westward over the next 7 days. Neither of the systems are a threat to the US at this time.
