High pressure continues this week as a stationary front remains just to our west. This will allow temps to heat up well above average again. Today is a First Alert WX Days as highs reach the upper 90s to some low 100s with heat index values up to 108 for some. Afternoon rain chances will be low today. Rain chances increase Friday afternoon into the weekend. Temps will depend on when rain/storms begin in the afternoon. We return to near normal temps this weekend with highs in the low to mid 90s and a chance for afternoon-evening showers and storms especially Saturday. Rain chances decrease Sunday and Monday with highs in the mid 90s. Rain chances increase again Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the low 90s.
Thursday night will be mostly clear with a 10% chance for showers and storms early, lows in the mid 70s.
Friday will be partly to mostly cloudy with a 50% chance for showers and storms, highs in the mid 90s. Heat index values up to 109.
