Our FIRST ALERT WX DAY is over. Tropical Gulf moisture continues to move over the area from the remnants of Isaias. Some scattered showers and an isolated storm still possible through 9am. A Flood Watch is in effect north of the Altamaha River until 2am Sunday. A cold front will move through early Sunday morning and bring an end to any rain chances. We begin to clear out Sunday afternoon. High pressure will dominate our weather next week. We’ll see plenty of sunshine and warmer temps. Near record highs expected Tuesday into Thursday with highs in the mid to upper 80s. A cold front will move through late Friday into Saturday with very little moisture. It will bring in much cooler air by Sunday.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a 20% chance for showers and storms through about 9am then afternoon clearing, highs around 80.
