Warm and dry overnight. High pressure will impact our weather into Wednesday. We’ll see lots of sun, low afternoon rain chances and hot temps. Highs will be in the mid 90s with heat index values up to 107. The low in the Gulf will move generally westward with little to no impact on our area. A cold front will stall over the area late Thursday into the weekend. This will bring more clouds and better rain chances everyday. Highs drop back to the low 90s by Friday and stay there until Sunday.

Tropical Outlook: Tropical Storm Bertha forms in the Gulf. This system will slowly move to the west moving inland Wednesday along the Louisiana coast before weakening over Texas this weekend.
