High pressure continues most of the week with more sunshine and lower rain chances. We’ll be warm and dry overnight with daybreak temps in the mid 70s. There’s a slight chance for a coastal shower by daybreak. Lots of sun Tuesday with only a 20% chance for showers and storms. Temps will be in the low 90s. Our average high is now 89. Sun and clouds Wednesday with low afternoon rain chances and highs around 90. Rain chances increase a little Thursday and Friday with highs in the low 90s. A cold front is forecast to move in late Saturday onto Sunday. This will increase our rain chances fore the weekend. Temps drop into the 80s by Monday.

Tropical Outlook: Tropical Depression 5 has formed off the Louisiana coast. The forecast calls for this system to become a tropical storm today before making landfall near the Texas/Louisiana coast Tuesday. It will have no impact on our weather. The remnants of Dolly are producing disorganized showers and storms from Hispaniola to the Leeward Islands. Redevelopment is not expected over the next 7 days as the system moves towards the Bahamas.
