Crews respond to officer-involved crash on East Montgomery Cross Road
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Emergency crews responded to a crash involving a Savannah Police vehicle. The crash happened around 9:00 Monday night on in the 1900 block of East Montgomery Cross Road. This is near the East Montgomery Cross Road Walmart.
WTOC crews on scene say that all lanes are closed. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
According to Georgia State Patrol, both the officer and the other driver involved were taken to the hospital where they are stable.
GSP says the officer was responding to a call when the crash happened.
Georgia State Patrol is investigating.
